Climate change, resource constraints and social inequality are challenging our world. Rarely in ABN AMRO’s long history has society witnessed such fast, deep and radical change as now.
Banking touches all sectors of business and all segments of society. Supporting clients at moments that matter has always been our role, our responsibility and our relevance. And we know that what matters hugely to our clients today is the transition to a sustainable era. They want to make a positive contribution – and they want their bank to help them do that. The sustainability shift offers opportunities for a bank at the heart of society such as ABN AMRO. We want to remain relevant and responsible now and in the future. So we’re taking a stand with an ambitious, clear purpose: Banking for better, for generations to come. There’s every chance we will spark major debate with our purpose. And we believe that’s a good thing. Keeping each other on our toes can only make us a better bank – for our clients, for society and for ourselves.

Colbert Databases BV develops database tools with unique innovative functionality: With our relational database management system (RDBMS) you can execute formulas that are stored in database fields.
If formulas can be stored in database fields, a range of problems become easily solvable. Problems that would otherwise have to be solved by writing software outside the database for a multiple of cost and completion time.
Application area's for this functionality are for example criteria matching, cohort definition, bonus calculation and risk analysis.
We provide new ways for solving complex problems in a simple way by seamlessly integrating innovative functionality into SQL.
