Abstracts for ICT.OPEN2021
Do you want to present your exciting research results at ICT.OPEN2021? Submit your abstract to apply for a spot at the online poster marketplace and/or a presentation during one of the online parallel sessions. Check out the ICT.OPEN2021 tracks and poster session.
The deadline for abstract submission was 10 January 2021, 23:59 hrs (CET).
The call for abstracts is now closed. All presenters have received notification of the selection.
ICT.OPEN2021 hosts the following tracks:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Big Data / Data sharing
- Cyberphysical & Autonomous systems
- Security & Privacy

Research schools (ASCI / IPA / SIKS)
Members of the research schools ASCI, IPA and SIKS have a great chance to communicate their research to the Dutch ICT research community at ICT.OPEN. If your research suits the tracks, please submit to the track directly. Otherwise, we welcome you to submit your abstract for the virtual poster session by the Research schools ASCI, IPA and SIKS. Register here to submit your abstract either for a track or the poster session.
Oral and/or poster presentation
The following guidelines for abstracts apply:
- Notification of outcome evaluation abstracts will be January 21, 2021.
- Presentations will have to be prerecorded on 1-3 February 2021.
- An abstract for a presentation consists of max. 2 A4 pages.
- Preference will be given to abstracts by postdocs and PhD candidates.
We are looking for new or on-going work on systems and applications that can be presented in an exciting and highly interactive way to the ICT.OPEN audience and ICT companies from small to large enterprises. The following guidelines apply:
- Participants of accepted demo proposals will present their demo online.
- An abstract for a demo presentation consists of max. 2 A4 pages.
In case the number of abstract submissions exceeds the available conference facilities, the track committees will select abstracts based on relevance to ICT.OPEN parallel tracks, originality, potential significance and clarity.
Please note that submission of an abstract DOES NOT imply registration for the conference. Please check this website for updates about registration and other conference matters.
